Q: Can a water heater tank be repaired?

A: No. Once the tank has failed it cannot be repaired: the water heater must be replaced.

Q: What causes sewer back ups?

A: Common causes for main sewer back ups include: root intrusion into the line from trees or bushes, settling of the ground, improper initial installation, foreign objects and tap failure at the city main.

How much carbon monoxide is too much?

A: Any amount of carbon monoxide in the home should be considered dangerous as it is a sign of a growing problem. If the problem is not fixed, the levels will only get higher and could possibly become lethal.

How often should I have my heating or cooling equipment serviced?

A: All equipment should be serviced per manufacturer recommendations at least once per season to optimize energy efficiency and prevent premature failure of the equipment.

Do furnaces always have to be replaced?

A: No, equipment does not ALWAYS have to be replaced, but often the repairs cost more than replacement. As parts become discontinued from the manufacturer, it will force replacement because safe operations can no longer be obtained.
