We recently had some work done at our residence by the people at Golden West. We had a new boiler put in, in November. And we had a new swamp cooler, just put in, as well as our electrical, totally redone. I would recommend Golden West to anyone, in a ...heartbeat. These guys are amazing. I don't remember all their names, but I'm gonna try. Shout outs to Anthony Linares, Carlos Luna, Riley, another Carlos, Joel, Manny and a couple of others, that I'm forgetting their names. Please forgive me. You guys are the best. Very professional in what you do. You made everything look so easy. Whenever we need work done again...we already know who to call. Edgar arrives on time, and fixed the leak under my kitchen sink with no time. He also noticed the slow drain issue and was able to clean the drain. He is knowledgeable, polite and has great customer service. Thanks Edgar!

I’ve been using this company for over a year to service an evaporative cooler. They’ve been out here a few times to turn it on, shut it down and replace filters. 2 stars for their techs doing their job. That’s basically where the good ends. Their ...dispatch is absolutely awful. There is always an issue with scheduling. They either don’t call with a time window, they don’t uphold a time window and there was one really bad instance where they just didn’t seem to have a clue where their techs were. I’ve had to escalate this to a manager because their dispatch was useless. They’re also extremely overpriced. $200+ per service call, which can be discounted if you buy their “vip” subscription. Basically just paying money up front for services you may not need. $700 to repair a water line, $700 for $300 filters. I know there is a convenience and service markup, but 200%+ is outrageous. Feels like they’re just trying to take advantage of people. They will drop the prices, if you do your research and escalate to a manager, but you can’t trust anything they quote. Unfortunately, it’s becoming harder to find somebody willing to get on a roof to work on a swamp cooler, so I’m stuck with them until I can find somebody else.Read More...
